Jasbir Singh Purewal's Obituary
Jasbir “Babbu” Singh Purewal was born on July 4th, 1987 in Punjab, India. His parents are Davi Singh Purewal and Balbir Kaur Purewal. He is survived by his fiancé Sandeep Kaur and brothers Sonu, Onkar, Jaskaran, Sukhwinder and sisters Harpreet, Manpreet, Gurpreet, Amarjit and Hartrisha. He is loved and will be cherished by his family forever.As a young child attached to his grandfather and home in Punjab, he adamantly refused to go to the U.S. with his brother and mom to go live with his father. Soon after adjusting to his new house, living with his dad, and making new friends in California, he grew to love the Bay Area and refused to ever leave. Babbu attended Cherry Wood elementary school, Sierramont middle school, and John F. Kennedy high school. After graduating high school in 2005, Babbu worked towards pursuing his career in nursing. He attended Ohlone college, NCP, and Unitek where he ultimately became a Registered Nurse.Babbu enjoyed singing, whether that was in the car, shower, or in the kitchen, hanging out with Sandeep, watching movies until 3am, playing with his pug Louie, riding his motorcycle, making Sonu do all his work, cracking jokes with his bhabi, and eating.Babbu loved San Francisco and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He is greatly missed by all that love him and will live in our hearts forever.
