Obituary for Janet Miller
Janet Miller, born November 19, 1939, in Tulare, California, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026.
Janet spent more than two decades working as a dedicated retail clerk at Safeway, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and warm smile. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures — especially trips to the casino, lively bingo nights with friends, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Marvin Lee Miller, and her son, Mitchell Miller of Manteca. Janet is survived by her three children:
David Miller of Turlock
Rhonda Acosta of Las Vegas
Pamela Balthrope of Manteca
She also leaves behind seven grandchildren who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Janet will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love for family, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
