James Michael Teixeira's Obituary
James Michael Teixeira, beloved husband, devoted father and adored papa went to be with our Lord on 03/20/15. He was born on June 10, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT. He served in the Navy for 4 years. He married the love of his life Isabel Villanueva on 04/20/63. He and Isabel moved to Hayward in 1975 to raise their family. He and Isabel moved to Modesto in 1999. He loved the Oakland Raiders, going to the movies and casinos, and reading, the thing he loved the most was playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Isabel, his children Joanna Ortiz (Gabriel) of Manteca, his son Dino (Brandy) of Hayward, his grandchildren Mariana, Alissa, Gabriel Ortiz II of Manteca and Dino and Alejandra Teixeira of Hayward, his brother Johnny of Beacon Falls, CT, and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary service will be held on Thur. 3/26 at 7pm, funeral service Fri. 3/27 at 1pm in Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
