Dear Donna,
I just learned of Jim’s passing and am so deeply saddened. You and I never met but Jim always spoke so lovingly about you, your son and daughter, and your beautiful grandsons. He and I were friends in school, during his service in the Navy during the Vietnam war, and then rekindled our friendship about 10 years ago. While overseas in the 1960’s, he passed my name and address around to the guys on his ship who never received any mail. He was very kind and thoughtful of others.
Please accept my sincere condolences as I cry for my old friend.
