James M. Heiser a Hayward, CA resident entered into rest Saturday, April 13, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Oakland, CA on March 11, 1940, he was 62 years of age. James served in the U.S. Army. He was a pigeon flyer. He retired from PG&E as Operations Supervisor after 37 years. James liked quarter midget racing cars, enjoyed fishing and camping. Loving father of Dawn Marie Heiser of Los Angeles, CA, stepfather to Kimberly Elgin of San Leandro, CA, James Silas Darnell of Salinas, CA and Timothy Frederick Darnell of Shreveport, LA. Dear brother of Shirley Soper of Turlock, CA. Devoted grandfather of ten grandchildren and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Beverly Heiser. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial service Thursday, April 18, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Elmhurst Baptist Church; 380 Elmhurst Street, Hayward, CA 94544.
