Jaime was a loving husband who was happily married to Sinaglaya Zaragoza Berdal (deceased) for over 57 years and a devoted father, he was the family patriarch to five children Rolando Berdal (deceased), Yolanda Long, Jaime Berdal Jr., Josephine Berdal, and William Berdal; seven grandchildren Jermain Berdal Long, Cherisse Berdal Negron, Quincy & Isabella Berdal, Rolando & Liam Berdal, and Anthony Aguirre; also four great-grandchildren Tyler & Olivia Long, and Melissa & Melina Negron. His legacy continues through his seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward the values he instilled in them. He was the heart of his family—a guiding presence whose quiet strength and steady example shaped generations.
A wonderful and hardworking man, Jaime dedicated 25 years of service to United Airlines, where his strong work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew him. He led by example, demonstrating that true strength lies in integrity, respect, and unconditional love.
