We all grew up in Tagi Tagi in the same place. Fua’s family and us Pitaji Mr Hukum Singh and his two younger brothers, Chacha Jai Singh and Chacha Lashkar Singh. Bhabi being a city girl was married in our family which was away from the city. Never in her life she complained that change. She cooked so many different kinds of food including baking cookies and cake without an oven. Her chutneys and achar were one of a kind. She sewed very well and I remember some of my dresses that she sewed.
In those days she a pressure cooker that she used a lot, had an English stove for cooking
lots of things (utensils) that others did have.
After Bhaiya’s family moved to Varandoli, we spent our school holidays there.
May Waheguru bless her soul. Rest In Peace Bhabi.🙏
What beautiful woman she was.

I remember her favorite color as being Pink 💕 I remember all my birthday parties she cooked at and one day when I came home from school she couldn’t find the key to the front gate so she got a plastic chair for me to try and hop over the fence with and she had to catch me when I jumped. After we went inside the house I asked her why we didn’t just open the garage door to let me inside and we both couldn’t stop laughing 😂♥️
Also, whenever I would find a spider in the house and tell her while screaming, she would grab it by one of its legs and carry it to throw outside like it wasn’t a big deal…my hero.
