Jack Dalton's Obituary
It is with great sadness we want to announce the passing of our father Jack Dalton at the age of 96. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49'ers and the Oakland A's. He loved to golf and bowl and enjoyed them well into his 80's. He worked out at the gym three times a week until 2 years ago and lived most of his life in Castro Valley. Jack will be remembered by those who loved him for his big personality and sense of humor.
Jack attended Fremont High School in Oakland.
He was a veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army during WWIl.
He is survived by his daughters Judy Medeiros and Peggy Dalton (Charlie).
His grandchildren Jesse Johansen (Jessica), Jason Bosch (Tracy), Jack Bosch, Jeanette Lanet (Preston Palm). His great grandchildren Gavin Bosch, Jakob and Jemma Johansen and Lincoln Palm. Also, his first great great granddaughter baby Bosch due in August.
He also leaves behind his companion Betty of 12 years and her sons Kippa (Karen), Lionel and best friend Bill Hallen. Also many extended family and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley of 59 years. Also his mother Hilda, his brother Leroy and his two adopted children Jack and Debbie.He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all of us. Jack and Shirley are now reunited once again and dancing in heaven. Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward.Date: Monday, April 4 Time: 12:00
