Isabella Simon's Obituary
ISABELLA G. SIMON Passed away at her home in Hayward on January 24, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 28, 1929 and had lived in Hayward for 39 years. She loved her hobbies, cooking, catering, raising/growing orchids and doing search a word puzzle books. She was a member of Hui Aloha O’Hawaii, Imua Athletic Club, Kaulaha Na Pua O’Hawaii and “Oka” ahumanu Wahine Ali’l Ahahui of North California and homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Santiago Simon and her son, James Simon. Survived by her loving children, Ann (Cliff) Simon of Alameda, Lei (Robert) Lew of Tracy, Lani (Eddie) Harai of Stockton, Ululani (Kathy) Simon of Hayward, Joseph Simon of Lodi and Michael (Evelyn) Simon Sr.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and funeral chapel service will be on Friday, February 2, 2007 in Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward. Burial will follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.
