Isabel Liwanag Magno's Obituary
Isabel Liwanag Magno, 71, died on July 29, 2022 at Kaiser Hospital in San Leandro, CA. Born January 11, 1951 in Cavite City, Philippines, to the late Enrique and Pacita Liwanag. Isabel was the middle child of ten siblings. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She never hesitated to put her family’s wants or needs before her own.
Isabel came to the United States in 1975 with her mother Pacita; siblings Amelia, Esther and Louie, where they lived in Alameda, CA. In 1977, Isabel met Carlo Magno while they both worked at Marshall Sherman in Oakland, CA. They soon fell in love and married on March 17, 1979. Isabel and Carlo shared forty-three beautiful years together, as well as two incredible daughters, Rochelle and Jenny who were raised and still reside in San Leandro, CA.
Isabel enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, dancing, playing bingo, cooking for her family and going to church. She doted on her two grandchildren whom she loved to spoil.
Isabel is survived by her husband Carlo; two daughters Rochelle and Jennifer; two grandchildren, granddaughter Hayden-Danielle and grandson Jaxon-Carlo; six siblings, Eddie, Marcial, Amelia, Carmen, Esther and Louie; five half-siblings, Annie, Naty, Marie, Solid and Enrique; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
