Isabel Salcido Estrada's Obituary
Born March 31,1951 Isabel Salcido Estrada was the third of five children born to Manuela & Francisco Estrada. She grew up in Brawley, Ca and at the age of 14, her family made the move to Fremont, Ca where she would continue to call home for the next 55 years.
Isabel graduated from Mission San Jose High School in 1969. In the following year her passion for wanting to care for others led her to pursue a degree in nursing, becoming a licensed vocational nurse at age 19 and dedicating 40+ years in the field, having worked
at Crestwood care facility in Fremont, Masonic home in Union City and Kaiser Permanente of Fremont.
In the early 1970s Isabel then met her lifetime partner Jesus Ayala and had two children together Marisa and Jessica. Isabel had many pastimes and enjoyed the simple things; from caring for her parents, to going out to eat, watching a good sci-fi horror movie
cheering on the warriors but one thing that always made her happy was Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
On March 8, 2020 Isabel passed away at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara hospital. She was 68 23 days shy of her 69th birthday. She is survived by her partner Jesus Ayala, daughters Marisa Estrada-Spenser (Chad) and Jessica Estrada (Noel Cabrales); grandchildren Vanessa,
Noel, Amaya, Makayla and Aria; Siblings Frank Estrada, Emilia Rodriguez and Elpidio Estrada. She is preceded in death by her parents Manuela, Francisco Estrada and her younger sister Maria Franco.
Isabel was a kind soul who always put others first and was always full of love and will never be forgotten.
