Miss you granny r, tell ma I said hi❤️.
So sorry for your loss. Prayers. She sure is going to be missed, she touched the lives of so many. Irene was my moms (Margaret) little sister and they were very close. So we kept in contact even though we were miles apart. I want to share this memory, of who she became known as in my house. My daughter Stephanie and I was in the kitchen making something don't even remember now what, but anyway the phone rings, I told Stephanie to answer it, because I needed to wash my hands. She was 5 or 6 at the time, I go get the phone from her and I asked do you know who it is? She said no I don't, but it's a woman and boy does she sure have a big voice. I knew then who it was Aunt Irene! So a few years ago I was sitting on the porch talking to Irene on the phone, my granddaughter Micah whose mom is Stephanie. She asks me grandma who are you talking to? I tell her Aunt Irene, she asks can I talk to her? I say you sure can now Micah is 5 or 6. She talks to her for a while, then she hands me the phone back and she says grandma she sure does have a big voice! So Aunt Irene became known as the woman with the big voice in my house. I already miss talking to her, I learned so much from her. Prayers and I love y'all.
