Irene Reboton's Obituary
Irene Catherine Reboton entered into eternal peace on Sunday, June 5th 2016.Irene was born on April 19, 1941, a daughter of the late Roy Goodwin and mother Fae Jordan. Irene graduated from Watsonville High School in 1958. In August 1966 Irene married the love of her life Ray Reboton; she was a very kind and gentle soul. Irene had an enormous and generous heart, she was always giving to others.Irene was a longtime resident of Hayward, California. She was well known in her community and provided day care services for many of the children in her neighborhood. In a career shift, she became a live-in care provider for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s.Irene loved to cook and bake, dance to country music, antiquing, watching old western movies, writing letters to friends and family and documenting her memories in her journal. Irene had a soft spot for animals she adopted rescue animals and smothered them with love. Irene’s family was her pride and joy and caring for them was her number one priority, she loved having her home full of her grandchildren laughing and playing if things got too rowdy Grammy would use two words to get them in line (Tap-Tap) she was not a force to be reckoned with.Irene is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Ray Reboton her devoted children Michael Bigasan Rachel Reboton and Derrick Reboton.She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her grandchildren: Avonika Bigasan, Jasyn Bigasan, Diamond Bigasan, Michael Bigasan, Tyler Reyes, Kaleia Leilinoe-Reboton, Quinton Bigasan, Cydney Bigasan and Nevaeh Bigasan.Great grandchildren: Jashaun Bigasan, Leila Tate-Bigasan and Ma’leia Bigasan.Services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 am at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward,
