Irene Marie Mackey's Obituary
Irene Marie Mackey went home to be with her Lord on January 6, 2012 at the age of 93 years old. She was born in Trousdale, Oklahoma, and eventually moved to Newark, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Hampton Mackey, her son Bill Mackey, 4 Granddaughters & 1 Grandson. Irene was a founding member of the Newark Presbyterian church and was very active in the community of Newark, Ca. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her children, Betty Barlow, Barbara Hoehn, Bonnie Pando, Bob Mackey and their respective spouses. She will be fondly remembered by her 16 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the Celebration Service in Memory of Irene following immediately after from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward 510-471-3363. Interment services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 1 pm at the same location.
