Ida Loyola Ybarra's Obituary
Ida Loyola Ybarra, known by her children as Mom, and to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Grandma Ida was born on November 11, 1934 in Garcia, Colorado to Claude and Reyes Cordova. She was the oldest of four daughters. On Friday, February 26, 2021 she lost her battle with Demintia disease and went home to be with Jesus. She is survived by her children: RoseAnn, Salvador Jr., Thomas Vincent, Elizabeth, Michael Anthony, Orlando (passed 3 days after birth) and Louise Marie, (plus son in-laws and daughter in-laws); Grandchildren: Alfonso, Salvador Orlando, Angie. Joseph, ShaColby, Selina, Jose, Michael Jr., Marcos Cruz, Dominique, Sylvia, Daniel, Anthony, Connor, Stephanie, Colleen, Aiden, and her great grandchildren; Keona Tatiana, Elissa Janae, Alysia, Adrian, Xandrian Andrade, Jace, Manny, Maxi, Jose Jr., Nathan, Isaiah, Alex, Michael Anthony III, AJ, Mathew, Grant, Caprice, Cameron Cody, Tristen, Joseph, Noah, Thomas, Madison Eileen, Cianna, Esaias, Monique, Will, (and a new arrival due September). She also has numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Ida was raised in Oakland, California along with her three younger sisters: Alice, Cordelia and Barbara. Ida was married at the age of 16 to Salvador Hernandez Ybarra in Reno, Nevada on September 15, 1951 and on June 20, 1953 married again in a church ceremony in Oakland, Ca. Ida never worked outside of her home choosing to be a stay at home mom and raise her children. Ida had many interests and hobbies and was a devout Christian. She had a beautiful presence about her, always positive. She was humble, compassionate, courageous, confident, and the most patient and loving woman in the room. These attributes were a reflection of the life she lived, as her faith in God was always a priority in her life, trusting God in everything she did. Ida, we will surely all miss your presence, and look forward to that day we meet again! She will be forever loved and missed by her devoted family and friends.
