Ida M. Houghlan a Fremont, California resident entered into rest September 30, 2003 in Santa Cruz. Born in Hannibal, Missouri on August 17, 1913, she was 90 years of age. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, bingo, Eastern Star, Elks Emblem Club and Milpitas Bachelor Belles of Milpitas. Loving mother of Maxine Zanker of Sunnyvale, California and Gary Houghland of Califon, New Jersey. She is survived by three sisters and four brothers and many grand and great grand children. Private graveside services were held at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. "Service of Marked Distinction"
