It is with profound sadness that Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home announces the passing of Hung Thai Mac.
Hung Thai Mac, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, has passed away surrounded by his family at Idylwood Care Center on March 21st, 2023. Hung Thai Mac lived a beautiful 90 years as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He left his life in Vietnam with his wife and children to immigrate to the United States in 1978. He and his family settled and restarted their lives in the Bay Area. He will always be remembered as a man who cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren. He considered his family to be his brightest legacy. He loved his wife dearly and never left her side, but when she tragically passed away in 2012 life was never the same. Now he can peacefully lay to rest alongside her. He will be missed, but his memory will live on in his two daughters, three sons and his many grandchildren.
Chapel of Chimes will be holding a funeral service for his family on March 30th, 2023 at 8:30 AM to 10 AM.
