Hui Qun Zullo's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hui Zullo, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who peacefully departed this world at the age of 90. Hui passed away in Fremont, California, surrounded by the love of her family.
Hui was born in the vibrant city of Guangzhou, China, on March 24, 1933, and she embarked on a remarkable journey that eventually led her to the shores of Newark, California. Her life was a testament to resilience and determination.
She is survived by her younger brother Wai To Tse and her older sister Hui Zhen Tse, her devoted eldest daughter, Anli Lao (Bill Cole), her loving son, Hongfu Lao (Xiaohui Bi), her cherished youngest daughter, Anna Lao (Frank Turowski), and adoring granddaughters Wen Cai and Qian Heng Lao.
Hui's family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of strength and unity.
A funeral service to celebrate Hui's life will be held on October 5th, 2023, at 12:00PM at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California, where friends and family will come together to remember the remarkable woman who touched their lives.
In her 90 years, Hui Zullo left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of sharing in her life's journey. May she find eternal peace.
