Hoa Phon Lu's Obituary
Hoa Phon Lu, 72, of Union City, California, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019.He was born in Saigon, Vietnam on June 26, 1947. He was married for twenty years to Julie Muoi Tao, with whom he had four daughters. He served as a police officer in Vietnam for a decade before immigrating to the United States. With a passion for reading, he enjoyed short novels and catching up on current events by reading the Chinese paper. He loved family gatherings, particularly as they gave him the opportunity to be in the spotlight. Generally a happy person, he enjoyed to smile, test his luck with the Lotto, and spend time with his siblings over some strong coffee.Hoa is survived by his daughters Karyn, Victoria, Qui, and Diane, and his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Haylie, Jasmine, and Evan.His surviving siblings are: Dong Khai, My Phu, Phuoc Khai, Quang Ngoc, Nhuan Khai, My Phuoc, Lang Ngoc, Phung Ngoc, Chi Khai, Khieu Ngoc, Chuong Khai, My Nhung, Huy Khai, Le Khai, Huong Ngoc, Phuon Ngoc, Han Khai, Binh Ngoc, Gia Khai, My Viet, Liem Khai, My Ngoc, and Hung Khai.The funeral ceremony will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California
