Hilda Tursi a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Wednesday, January 22, 2003 in Hayward. Born in Oakland, CA on November 3, 1937, she was 65 years of age. She worked as a Housekeeper in the hotel industry for 20 years. She loved cooking. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and reading the daily newspaper. She also liked taking trips to Reno, Nevada. She was proud that she helped raise her grandchildren who called her 'Nana'. Loving mother of Debra & Alvin Goveia of San Leandro, CA, Rosemarie Tursi, Corey & Sheila Molter of Suisun City, CA, Robbie Tursi of Hayward and Ronnie Tursi of Hayward. Devoted grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her husband of 40 years, Patrick Tursi preceded her in death May 11, 1995. Her parents Mary and Tony Cabral preceded her in death. Friends are welcome to attend a Graveside service Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park-Garden of Honor; 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.'Service of Marked Distinction'
