Herminia Docena's Obituary
Oct. 4, 1936 – May 21, 2008 “Minia” passed away peacefully at the Stanford Hospital on May 21, 2008. She was 71 yrs. old. Minia was born and raised in the Philippines. She is preceded in death by husband, Fermin Docena. She is survived by her sister, 10 children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 3 dogs, and a rabbit, as well as many other members of her family and great friends. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, babysitting her many grandchildren, and playing “tong-its”. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesday, May 27 and 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, May 28. A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Anne’s Church in Union City at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 29, 2008.
