Henry Lee Thompson's Obituary
Henry Lee Thompson, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, godfather, friend, and colleague transitioned this life far too soon on July 13, 2025. Henry was 59 years old.
Henry’s passion for the skies and defined his career path. Immediately after high school, he joined the United States Air Force (USAF) following in the footsteps of his two maternal uncles. He proudly served his country for nine years. As an Airman in the USAF, he earned his FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist Certificate. After his military service, Henry went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career working at airports, turning a childhood dream into reality. Henry was known for his quiet strength, commitment to service, and deep love for family and community.
