Helen E. Worden, 97, of Tracy CA, passed away April 18, 2019.She was born in St. Cloud, MN on Sept 9, 1921. Helen E. Hockert graduated from Technical High School. She was married to Robert F. Worden on May 16, 1945.Helen joined the US Navy in 1943 and served until August 1945. She met Robert F. Worden, a fellow sailor at Alameda Naval Air Station. She was a member of International Order of Foresters, was an election Board member and Girl Scout leader. She had a passion for gardening, puzzles, reading, knitting, and crocheting.She was survived by her children Elizabeth Bixby, husband Robert; Juanita Webster, husband Daniel; Dennis Worden, wife Pamela;, Grandchildren, David Bixby, Ann Bixby, Geoffrey Bixby, Timothy Webster, Amanda Webster; Janelle Robb, Valerie Watts, Robyn Ortega, Natalie Scott, Susan Hemphill, Michele Bates, Great grandchildren, Abigail Bixby, Cora Bixby, Zachary Bixby, Jacob Bixby, Daniel Bixby; Alexander Gardner, Benjamin Webster, Zander Robb, Jason Ortega, Kamilla Ortega,Siblings, Josie Butterfield, Loretta Schiller and Mickey Lull.Predeceased by parents John & Florentine Hockert, brothers Frank & Alfred Hockert, sisters, Amelia Hockert, Louise King, Lillian Schneider, Joan Hall and her son Robert C. Worden. Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:30 am, May 2, 2019, at St. Felicitas Catholic Church.
