HELEN F. SCHEID Passed away on March 30, 2007, in Modesto, CA. She was 83 years old. Born on December 30, 1923, in Fresno, CA. A resident of Waterford, CA for 30 years. Helen was in the Army- Women’s Army Core during WWII; worked for 30 years as Food Service Manager for the Unified School District of San Lorenzo and Modesto Schools; she liked camping. Helen is survived by her husband of 61 years, Leadas Scheid of Waterford, CA. 1 daughter, Carol A. Edwards of Modesto, CA. 2 sons: Randolph L. Scheid of Walnut Creek, CA. and David A. Scheid of Milpitas, CA; 1 sister, Dorothy Moya of San Leandro, CA., and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 form 4:30pm to 8:30pm and Funeral service Thursday, April 5, 2007 2:00pm both at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward.
