Helen Louise Root's Obituary
Dec. 2, 1929 – Feb. 28, 2009 Resident of Hayward Helen passed away peacefully on February 28, 2009 at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Chester Root. She is survived by her 3 sons, Mike and his wife Debbie, Dennis and David and his wife Karen. 6 grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Joanna, Bryan, Kevin and Stephanie, 3 step-grand-children, Christopher, Aimee and Kevin. Her sister Donna and husband Stan Paxiao, her brother Gary Lueckel and several nieces and nephews. Her hobbies included gardening, reading and listening to music. Helen will be missed by so many dear friends and family. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8th from 5:00 – 8:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9th at 10:00am, internment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544.
