Helen M. Conklin a Castro Valley resident entered into rest Monday April 28, 2003 in Hayward, California. Born in New Brunswick, Canada on August 18, 1915, she was 87 years of age. Helen was a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She worked for the Castro Valley School District for 17 years.Loving mother of Dean Conklin of Castro Valley and Mark Conklin of Hayward, California. Dear sister of Pauline Weaver of San Leandro, California. Devoted grandmother of four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Ralph Conklin and two sisters Vera Sullivan and Virginia Bittencurt.At her request no service will be held. But there will be a gathering of family and friends at her son Dean's house on May 10th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 19959 Alana Rd. Castro Valley.'Service of marked Distinction'
