Harry Partington Eastwood's Obituary
Harry graduated from Castlemont High School as an All Star athlete in 1948 before marring the love of his life, LaVerne Cadinha. He began his career as a catcher for the SF Seals and NY Yankees, before an injury shattered his dreams. The Eastwood's then moved to Hayward and raised four children. Terry Smith, Harry Eastwood Jr., Cynthia Estrada and Jackie Jacobs. They were later blessed with eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. They settled in Modesto and Harry passed away on June 8, 2011 after a long battle from Parkinson's disease. Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and a funeral service on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544. Burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.
