Harold C. Turpin's Obituary
Harold Turpin died Saturday, July 31, 2004 after a brief illness. Harold was born February 16, 1915 in Bonneterre, Missouri to Sherman and Stella Turpin. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in metallurgy and accounting. Harold was well known for his optimistic attitude and love for life. He loved participating in the arts; he was an accomplished painter and an excellent cook. Harold entertained guests and also socialized with many friends in the Oakland area. Harold is survived by his nephew, Lawrence, nieces, Charlotte and Sharon, and many grand nieces, nephews, and cousins. His beloved brother, Alvin, and sister, Madeline, preceded him in death.
