HARBHAJAN KAUR SIDHU's Obituary
Harbhajan Kaur Sidhu's journey began on October 15, 1933, in India, born to Sardara Singh Gill and Dhan Kaur Gill. Though her mother, Dhan Kaur, passed after her birth, Harbhajan's own life was a testament to resilience and strength. Widowed at 39, she fearlessly raised four children, each embodying her determination. At 48, she embarked on a new chapter, immigrating to America, where she played a pivotal role in nurturing her 11 grandchildren and delightfully welcomed her great-grandchildren. Revered in her community, she imparted values of diligence, generosity, kindness, and love, illuminating lives even in challenging times. At the age of 78, she was awarded for her invaluable services knitting scraps, booties, and gloves for needy citizens by the non-profit organization Indian Community Center in Milpitas, further highlighting her dedication to helping others. Her spirit of giving knew no bounds, remaining steadfast until her final moments. Harbhajan's legacy as a fighter and an unwavering force endures. As we bid her soul a peaceful journey to her final resting place with God, her remarkable contributions and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire generations.
