Hallie Church's Obituary
Hallie Church, Born on May 15, 1920 in Brown Creek, West Virginia passed away on Monday, November 12, 2001 at her daughter's home in Castro Valley, California. She married Glen Wamon Church on September 2, 1939. Glen passed away in 1996, they had been married 57 years. Hallie has been a resident of Alameda County for 40 years. She was very devoted to her family. She was a magnificent cook and a wonderful homemaker.Hallie was preceded in death by two sons, Levan Arlin Church and Gene Edward Church. She is survived by her loving children; Janice Irene Church of Tracy, Patricia Ann Saunders of Manteca, Belinda Sue Ratto of Valley Springs, Connie Joann Journey of Castro Valley and Michael Glen Church of Tracy, California. She is also survived by her dear sister and two brothers, Alice Church of Hayward, California, Paul Rotenberry and Mason Rotenberry both of West Virginia. She also leaves behind her wonderful 11 grandchildren and her terrific 16 great-grandchildren . Family and Friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
