Guido (Bud) J. Betti September 30, 1927 – March 2, 2019Guido Joseph Betti passed away with his loving family by his side in Manteca CA, on March 2, 2019.He was born in Escalon CA to Giovanna and Louis Betti on September 30, 1927 at their ranch on River Road. Guido was the 5th born out of 9 children.He attended Burwood Grammar School and Escalon High School. After graduation he joined the Navy and spent time in the South Pacific aboard the USS Topeka. After his discharge he became a truck driver hauling produce, which he did for 40 years, retiring in 1989.He worked out of the Bay Area where he met his wife Anne. They were married in Virginia City, Nevada on October 1, 1956. Their home was in Castro Valley where they raised their three children, Barbara, Robert and Gerald.He loved the SF Giants, SF 49ers, Golden State Warriors and Oakland Athletics (Big Sports Fan) and was a whiz at crossword puzzles that he enjoyed doing together with his wife Anne.Surviving are his Loving wife Anne, Daughter Barbara Betti of Manteca, Sons Robert Betti and Gerald Betti of Castro Valley and three Grand Sons, Tony, Nick and Joey, Brothers Bob Betti of Santa Cruz, Leo Betti of Oroville and sister Evelyn Swass of Escalon. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Siblings: Sylvia Piccoli, Irma Bailey, Attilio Betti, Charlie Betti and Virginia Cova.Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward 94544Visitation Monday 3/11 in our Mission Chapel Family time: 10:30 am Public: 11:00 am-12:00 pmFuneral service 3/11 in our Mission Chapel Service: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Burial at Mission Terrace 1:00 pm
