Summer of 2019, Vicky and Sam had invited a number of friends and I to participate in the Northern California Chinese Summer Track and Field Game. Everyone invited won a medal! I remember Vicky proudly shared the news with Mr. Lu as he was an active member of the American Maoming Association and an advocate of living a healthy lifestyle.

姚老师教我们数学，无论是课堂教学还是课后的排球活动，姚老师都在我们的心中留下了生动和深刻的记忆！姚老师在高州教坛耕耘三十多年，热爱教育，为高凉大地哺育了一代又一代的学生，在学生们的心目中是一个忠厚慈祥值得尊敬的好老师！
我们92届高中毕业不久之后就听说姚老师移民到美国旧金山湾区，没曾想我后来留学辗转也来到了北加州，和姚老师及家人又见面了。姚老师很客气和好客，非常积极参加或组织同乡会的活动，热心公益，处处留下了积极热情开朗的身影。
