Gregorio R. Vega Nov. 17, 1922 – May 26, 2018 Passed away peacefully at home. Gregorio is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years Maria Dolores Vega the pillar of his life, six children; Eleanor Pimentel (Julian) of Livermore, Linda Diosdado (Art) of Union City, Javier Vega (Ruth) of San Jose, Greg Vega of Union City, Ricardo Vega of Hayward, Gracie Vasquez (Tony) of Livermore, grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded by his son Abraham (Abie) Vega. He always had a big smile especially when being surrounded by family and friends. He was an avid walker up until his last days of his life. As a man he took his responsibilities very seriously especially work getting awards for outstanding attendance. Everyone who counted on him as a friend knew they had a genuine friend in their life. Gregorio loved to reminisce about his childhood and the years he spent moving up and down the coast of California. The sparkle of his eyes at the sound of his beloved mariachi music would forever be missed by his family and friends.
