Gregoria Cruz Mendoza's Obituary
Gregoria Cruz Mendoza of Bani Pangasinan Philippines and a resident of Union City California peacefully passed away on February 07, 2018 at 3:39 pm at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, Ca. She was 88 years old.Better known as “Goring” or “Manang Goring” to many who personally know her, she was born in Lingayen Pangasinan on March 12, 1929 the youngest of 12 children Laureano Ulam Cruz and Jacinta Altre. She took up residence in Bani after her marriage to Felicisimo Rivera Mendoza and began her career as a elementary school teacher and taught in various schools there for many years until 1980 when she decided to follow her husband to the United States. She left workforce to become a full-time wife, mother and babysitter of her grandchildren.Gegoria is survived by her four children; Ferdinand, Barbara, Michael and Dennis. Her daughters in law and son-in-law; Josephine, Timoteo, Elizabeth and Lou. Her grandchildren; Adrian and his wife Qiqi, Ferdinand ii, Thea Marice, Jihan, Timothy, Aaron, Breanna, Lance and Nicole and lastly her great grandchild Dylan. Manang Goring will be greatly missed by her family, close relatives and friends.
