Graciela Rangel's Obituary
Graciela Resendez de Rangel passed away peacefully at her home on July 24, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on May 27, 1930, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, she lived a long and beautiful life devoted to her family.
A proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Graciela's home was a place of warmth and welcome. She greeted everyone with a smile and never let a guest go without something to eat. Her joy for life was contagious—she loved traveling, playing Bingo, card games, and Rummikub. She never missed a chance to celebrate with family and friends and took immense joy in attending the sporting events of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—always cheering from the sidelines with pride.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, David Martinez Rangel; her parents, Ramona and Saturio; her sisters, Teresa, Consuelo, and Alicia; and her great-grandson, Christian Diego Rangel.
Graciela is survived by her six children: Leticia Munguia (Carlos), David Rangel, George Rangel, Xavier Rangel (Flavia), Grace Zamora (Rafael), and Maria Elena Saavedra (Salvador); 17 grandchildren; and 22 of 23 great-grandchildren. Her love, spirit, and legacy live on through each of them.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but she will never be forgotten.
Siempre en nuestros corazones.
