Grace Baker's Obituary
GRACE J. BAKER GRACE J. BAKER Age 77, passed away suddenly of cancer on October 6, 2006 in Newark, California. She is survived by her son, Wayne Baker, also of Newark; and her daughter, Shireen Beeman, of San Leandro, CA; as well her mother, Marie Miller, 94, of Burlingame, CA. Grace also leaves behind 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Grace was born January 9, 1929 in San Francisco, CA and remained in the area most of her life. She loved gardening roses, and crocheting, donating over 100 baby blankets to local Homes for Unwed Mothers. For several years she volunteered in early education programs, and church activities. She was loved by family and friends for her care and generosity. Family and friends are invited to the CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA, to attend the visitation on Wed., October 11, 2006 from 5:30 ' 8:30 p.m.; and the interment on Thurs. at 9:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow the interment at HOLY TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 38801 Blacow Road, Fremont, CA.
