Gordon Bruce Williams' Obituary
Gordon B. Williams, a retired airman of the U.S. Air Force, was a loving, kind, and devoted husband and son. His battle with cancer in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite his pain and discomfort, he came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. He passed away at the age of 58 in his home in Lathrop, CA on October 28, 2022.
Gordon was born in Tacoma, Washington, on November 10th. 1963. He lived for a few years in Stuttgart and Augsburg, Germany, during the time his father was in the military. After returning to the U.S., a short time was spent living in Merced, CA., and then on to Fremont, San Jose, Saugus, and then finally to San Ramon. Yes....Gordon loved to travel.
He joined the military when he was 18 and served for 31 years. He was a skilled saxophone and piano player, and I think I just mentioned that Gordon loved to travel. He enjoyed eating authentic dishes, and loved spending quality time with his family. He met Tess, his wife of 13 years in 2003.
Gordon is survived by his parents, Robert and Waltraud Williams, his brother Kevin Williams, sister-in-law Jennifer Williams, his nephews Jace and Bryce, and niece Reece. His stepchildren Sheila, Sigrid, Ivy and BL. And his loving wife Tess Williams.
