Gloria Neves' Obituary
GLORIA A. NEVES Passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2007, at the age of 82, surrounded by her family. Gloria was born on march 16, 1925 in Niles. She was raised in Centerville and attended Washington High School, class of 1942. She has lived in Niles since 1955. Gloria enjoyed working for the Fremont Unified School District for 13 years. She was known for her “green thumb”. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Neves, Sr., and sons Dennis and Thomas Silva. Gloria is survived by sons Jeffrey and Edward J. Neves, Jr., daughter-in-law Mary, and Janet and Urv Anderson. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christy, Soren, Jeffrey Jr., Elise, Rebecca and Tony, and great granddaughter Sofia. Gloria leaves behind many favorite nieces, nephews, and close friends. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 6, 2007 at 10am in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. Burial will be private.
