Gloria Gale Moreira's Obituary
Gloria Gale Moreira born April 22nd, 1949 in Oakland, California. Passed away on September 1, 2013 in Hayward, California surrounded by her friends and family. Went to Tennyson High School and graduated from Hayward High in June, 1967. Worked as a secretary and then married Adrian Moreira, Sr. in November 1970. Had three wonderful children: Adrian Jr, Shirene Leeann and Jeremy, whom she said “would light up my life with their love for me”. Her most favorite entertainment was to have family gatherings with plenty of food! She loved to dance. She loved the beach and horseback riding. She was definitely a cat person, but liked dogs too. Her husband, Adrian Lee Moreira, Sr was, in her words, her “only love”. Her sister Marilyn was her best friend. Her mother Judy, her rock and where she learned how to love and how to give it. Her baby brother, Fred, was always her protector. She was blessed with a bountiful amount of love in the family and with many friends, for whom she had a special place in her heart for each one. Gloria’s mother always said to her that there was always room for one more in your heart, it’s never too small, and Gloria lived that. So many were dear to her heart and special and she wanted everyone to know that. She is survived by: Her husband Adrian, Sr. Her children Adrian Jr, Shirene and Jeremy. Her mother Judy, her sisters Marilyn and Pam, her brother Fred, her nephew Bernie and countless other friends and family. The family would also like to take this time to offer special thanks to our dear friend Rosa “Rosie” Parraz, and her family, whose invaluable care and companionship made Gloria’s last days manageable.“Have fun being together. It truly is a time to rejoice because Jehovah has promised me a better life with all of you. We will only be apart a short while so enjoy your lives, I did. You all deserve the same.”A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes- 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA on Saturday September 7th at 1:30pm.
