Glenn E. Williams Resident of Oakland, California Sunrise: March 11, 1924 Sunset: May 7, 2012 Glenn E. Williams was born in Garland, Kansas to the late Glenn C. Williams and Elise Mae Simons Williams, brother to the late Vivian Caprini. Loving husband of 68 years to the late Katherine S. Williams. Survived by his Daughter Linda and Son-in-law Don. Loving Grandfather to, Troy, Shawn and Danell. Proud Great Grandfather to Bryan, Adam, Emily, and Jacob. Proudly served our country during the Second World War in Bougainville. After returning to the States he began his career as an automotive mechanic at the Oakland Naval Supply Center, retiring after 42 years of service, Glenn enjoyed the great out-doors fishing, hunting, and backpacking with his grandsons and many friends. Your family and friends will miss you dearly, but never forget you. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on May 14, 2012 from 5-9 pm and a Funeral Service May 15, 2012 at 130 PM at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward in Mission Chapel.
