Gladys M. Bratton a Fremont resident entered into rest August 8, 2001 in Fremont. Born in North Dakota on September 28, 1900, she was 100 years of age. Gladys was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Oakland. She was very active in her church. She organized dinners for church suppers. She was the Past President for First Things First Circle when she moved to Fremont. She attended the Mowry Baptist Church and helped with bible study in her home. She was a devote Christian Woman and loved to serve God.Loving mother of Ladona White of Castro Valley and Norman Bratton of Auburn. Devoted grandmother of eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and twenty-one great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 12, 2001 from 5:00p.m.-8:30p.m.at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Monday, August 13, 2001at 1:00p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.'Service of Marked Distinction'
