Gilbert Souza a San Lorenzo, California resident entered into rest Sunday, February 23, 2003 in San Lorenzo. Born in Oakland, California on September 16, 1922, he was 80 years of age. Gilbert was a member of the Alameda Sirs. He served in the U.S. Army.Dearly beloved husband of Lorraine Souza for 54 years. Loving father of Russ Souza of San Lorenzo and Ken Souza of San Francisco. Dear brother of Elizabeth Pedro of Hayward and Dorothy Kocyan of San Lorenzo. Devoted grandfather of two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2003 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
