Gilbert Wayne Mora's Obituary
Gil grew up in Alameda, and graduated from Alameda High school in 1980. He then went on to obtain a BA in computer science from Cal State Hayward. In 1992 he received his Journeymen’s Certificate from The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Gil was an honest, kind and generous man, loved by all who knew him. His passions were bass fishing, sports, antiquing, camping, cars and building things. He was an excellent carpenter, but also a jack of all trades, proficient in everything he did. Gil is survived by his daughter Melissa, his son Justin, and his parents Romeo and Zenaida Mora. He will be dearly missed by his girlfriend Teri, and many lifelong friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and neighbors.
