Chapel Of The Chimes Hayward
I know Ghulam since we were teenager at Ghazi high School in Kabul. He was among the most intelligent and bright students I have ever known. During the uprising of the students (1965-1968), Ghulam chose the path to deepen his affinity with oppressed people in Afghanistan and around the world. His commitment to the ideals of humanity, and freedom extended into his last day of life.Ghulam is a loss to his family, friends, and all those others who came with his help from Afghanistan to this country to live in peace and freedom, but it is a loss to all Afghans.Ghulam was a great scholar, mentor, and friend. I will miss him a lot.THANK YOU MY FRIEND, YOUR SPIRIT WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE ON, in all of us.If from my dust wheat springsAnd you make bread from this wheat, it’ll make you drunk. Both dough and baker will become madAnd the oven will sing songs of drunkards. If you come in pilgrimage to my tomb,My burial ground will invite you to dance: Rumi##imported-begin##Qassim Siddiqyar##imported-end##
