Gertie Mae Bowman 85 of Mountain House passed away suddenly on December 12, 2016 Gertie is survived by her Sister Sherry Allen , Brother in law Larry Allen, Sister Sharon Page, Brother James Page, beloved dog Zoey all of Mountain House and Brother Ronald Page of Pleasanton. Gertie was truly a very special little lady with a large personality. Making people laugh was one of her favorite things to do. She loved to dance, bake, have parties and play with Zoey. Gertie loved all holidays, but Halloween was her favorite. The whole family took part in celebrating by wearing costumes, decorating the house and passing out candy. Gertie dressed as a witch every year sitting on the front porch with her candy bowl, so she could watch all of the kids. Gertie loved having all of her family and friends around her, she made each occasion full of fun and laughter. Gertie’s passing has left a huge void in the lives of her family and friends. We will miss her dearly. She was a wonderful sister and we were lucky to have her in our lives for as long as we did. We love you Gertie….you will be in our hearts forever.
