German Romero's Obituary
German Creus Romero passed away on November 15, 2016. His parents Maximo and Emerinciana Romero, and sister Gloria Romero Tibayan predecease him. His loving wife, Felicidad Halili Romero, of 53 years, survives German. He is lovingly remembered by is daughter Gina (Tony Bommarito); his sons Gerald (Goldy) and Gari (Connie); brothers, Fernando (Socorro) and Romeo (Nery); grandsons Paolo, Marco and Luca; loving nieces and nephews, and many more relatives.German was born on June 25, 1929 at Banaba Cerca, Indang Cavite, Philippines. German joined the United States Navy (USN) in 1956. He served as a chef for many different fleets. He was stationed in both the US and Vietnam. He retired after serving for 20 years. He loved to fish, sing and dance. He loved to travel. Family and friends surrounded him until the end of his life. Fair winds and following seas, we will always love and remember you.Viewing will be held on Nov. 21 at 12-3pm, Nov 22, 5-9pm (Veteran’s service 6:30-7:30pm) and the funeral service on Nov. 23 at 10:00am and the funeral immediately following.
