Gerardo Intertas, Jr. June 10, 1946 – May 8, 2014Gerardo Intertas, Jr. was born in the Philippines on June 10, 1946. Known to his family and friends as Gerry, he graduated from Polytechnic High School in San Francisco. A resident of Daly City, Gerry enjoyed a long career as a professional photographer. He loved to watch movies and basketball, was a competitive bowler, and was an avid fan of the SF Giants.Gerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He is survived by Gloria, his wife of 38 years, his daughter Anna, son-in-law Anthony, and grandchildren Andy, Gabriella and Jackson. He leaves behind his sisters Angelina, married to Modesto Mendoza, , Zenaida, married to Alfredo Francisco Lourdes, married to Vergel Ambrosio, Josie Quiazon, Aurora, married to Jon Penner, Cora Intertas, Julie Principe and Helen, married to Wing Ying. Gerry was a loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.Gerry passed peacefully on May 8, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.Service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd Hayward CA 94544 on Wednesday May 14, 2014 from 5 to 9 and Thursday May 15, 2014 at St. Annes at 10 am
