George Layno So An's Obituary
George Layno So An, of Union City, California, passed away on November 19, 2023.
George, often called Ging, was born on February 22, 1937 in Manila, Philippines to An So and Maria Luisa Layno So An. George was an accountant for most of his life, working first for the BVY Group in Manila and California, and then with the Contra Costa County of Education. He was known for being a loving and loyal friend, uncle, grandfather, father, and husband.
George is survived by his wife of 52 years Beatrice, daughter Elizabeth and boyfriend Mike, daughter Margaret and husband Michael, and grandson Liam. He is also survived by his siblings Patricia, Bert, and Esperanza, along with a multitude of extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, January 22, 2023 at 12:00pm. The service will be at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, CA. The family requests that no flowers be sent to the service. They appreciate all the support and prayers everyone has provided.
