George B. Robinson, Sr. a Manteca, California resident entered into rest Friday, July 5, 2002 in Manteca. Born in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 8, 1936, he was 66 years of age. He was an active member I the community. He was a volunteer for the Manteca S.H.A.R.P. (Seniors Helping Area Residents & Police) program. He enjoyed fishing, he was a comedian and very artistic. He was an avid outdoorsman. He always had a joke, a smile and an encouraging word for everyone. Prior to living in Manteca he lived in Hayward and Union City for 5 years and prior of Livermore for 25 years.Dearly beloved husband to Maryellen J. Robinson for 22 years. Loving father of Josie Baker of Chicago, IL, Carla Wooldridge of Manteca, Lori Moore of Tracy, CA, Joseph Robinson of California, Mike Robinson of Chicago,IL, Sam Robinson of Tracy, CA and George Robinson, Jr. of California. Dear brother of Diane Grembrin of Rohnert Park, CA, Bruce Robinson of Oakland, CA and David Petrie of S. California. Devoted grandfather of twenty-seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Friends are welcome to attend a Nicheside Service Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Full Military Honors at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
