George Elie Khawahie; Sunrise July 12th, 1980, Sunset April 17th, 2019George Elie Khawahie (known to loved ones as “Gegi”), of Union City, CA, passed away unexpectedly the morning of April 17th, 2019. He was born to Elie Jean Khawahie and Berlantin “Beny” Smarkis Elias on July 12th, 1980 in Mountain View, CA.A resident of the Bay Area, George discovered his love for technology at a young age. Which then led him to create his own business, known as Silicon Valley Computing. George had many interests, including his love for Star Trek Next Generation, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, Jurrasic Park, the color red, photography, and taking long drives down the coastline in his Corvette. On March 15th, 2013, George met his best friend and soulmate, Ariadna “Ari” Khawahie; the pair would become inseparable. They committed to each other on January 16th, 2016. Throughout their marriage, they shared an impeccable love for their dogs’ Monkey and Joey, enjoyed countless food adventures, many wonderful trips, and movie binges. George was a very down-to-earth, genuine, simple man, his smile was contagious, as he was charismatic; making a lasting impression on everyone he met.George is survived by his wife Ari, his mother Beny, his sister Maria Gonzalez and brother-in-law Chris Gonzalez and their four children; Ashourina, Christina, Elie, and Ashur, his grandfather Smarkis Elias, and his adoptive family, the Pulido-Perezes.George leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, and brother. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile, for the lessons learned, all the jokes we shared and his clever sense of humor. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends.We will miss him more than words can express. We love you forever and a day.
